Our Guiding Light
To faithfully help our neighbors in need move from ‘strive to thrive’ in their everyday life.
Hand in Hand partners with local public schools to identify and serve families facing the greatest need in Spartanburg, SC. Upon direct referrals from school social workers, we provide new clothes for children which they don’t often get, essential products, food, household necessities, and neighborly love so that children and families feel respected, supported and encouraged.
Our Impact
We strive to improve the capacity for students to stay in school, experience increased self esteem, and to improve family wellness as a whole.

Community awareness, partnerships and collaborative efforts are the cornerstone of the Hand in Hand mission. Many Spartanburg individuals, groups and organizations rally and respond to make our work possible. We are grateful to all of our partners working hand in hand with us to serve families in need.
Hand in Hand is a fund within First Presbyterian Church Spartanburg which is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization. First Presbyterian Church is the fiscal agent for Hand in Hand.
